What Gane Engine Do You Think Is The Worst When....
If your like me and like recording games for YouTube etc, what game engine do you find annoying or frustrating the most? UNITY? UNREAL ENGINE?

I played Dream Logic (UNREAL ENGINE) game and both times my recorded play, the recording in some parts corrupted, like the end where I am being chased by the monser (recording corrupted twice in both plays) dont know why this happened.

I think I find UNREAL engine sometimes a pain with recordings

What engine do you find a pain with recordings?

I think it’s funny people believe the game engines to be the problem.
So the recorder? It cant be becasue my other games record fine no issues.
Dream Logic used UNREAL engine and for some reason my recording kept corrupting and nor recording certain parts

Corruption being captured is either too much data rate for the storage, which can be true when its also an OS HDD, problem with gpu, cpu/gpu capping or otherwise a hardware issue or software setting issue. Basically, you need to know how your hardware handles the load, and the proper software settings.

Other general issues like bad overall capture;
Some recording software just has to run in admin mode and that tends to fix blackscreens instead of the game showing or other unusual issues. Other programs require you select the correct source; for some its game capture, for others it's window capture that will display while the other doesn't.

Learning the hardware & software will give the best results, especially with testing before trying to make videos for youtube.
Thanks

With my Trails games they record fine, but Dream Logic has been a pain. I re looked at my recording today amd the start was corrupted but it recorded fine ater that soI had to re do all game again (1 hour) not too bad, it recorded fine all way except the end where the monster chased me, so I can select level and will have to re do that again....not sure why Dream Logic Gamehas been a nuisance to record.

My recorder was sett o CPU but I have just changed it to NVIDIA H264 @ NVENC
ill see how that goes
