I cant Play a free game in another region.

the game name is " throne and liberty " and i cant play it because i am in Malaysia, and the only way to change my region is by make a perches from that region which i cant. so how do i play it? the steam support keep telling me to make a perches from that region,
and i heard this restriction is because people abuse the system. but the game i want to play is free, so can steam make it available to us to change region ?

If it's not available in your region there is nothing you can do without breaking steams rules until it's available there as games can be region locked for many reasons.

You don't. If the publisher for that region isn't offering the game on Steam, you cannot play it on Steam. If there is no publisher for that region, same deal. Keep in mind that even if you did manage to trick the Steam client into thinking you're in the right region, the game could very well have its own region lock on top that will still prevent you from playing or rules in its terms of service that state your account will be banned when it's discovered you're playing out of region.

VPNs don't work on Steam to change your Steam store region. And haven't since 2018.

I did, and i could see the game after switching currency but i still couldnt download it because of the region, i get an error when i try to download it.
