Tracking down an old background

Howdy steam forums, I once again request your aid on something non-game related

A while ago (I think a year or so ago-ish), steam had given away a zip file containing several backgrounds based on common game genres (multiplayer, shooter, singleplayer, adventure, ect ect).

My background for the longest time was one contained within that file that was based on space games (specifically, it was a space man flying in a pink-ish space orbit looking at a space station you can only see through the reflection's helmet). Recently my PC, Windows 11 (blasted be microscuffed), had glitched out my background and caused it to constantly swap between the background and a pure black screen akin to discord's super-black mode. I went to replace the background only to find. . . the zip was lost in the crossfire of migrating to windows 11 from windows 10.

So I turn to you, humble steam forum crawlers and your vastly infinite knowledge. . . Is there a way to acquire that old zip file again? I know it existed, I had it for a long time, but I also know it was part of an event that has long since passed so tracking it down may just be a wild goose chase. Either way, anyone know where I can track it down?

Things to try to recover the original

Check your old Steam email or announcements
If it was a giveaway, Steam may have sent an email or posted in the “News” section. Searching old emails (look for “Steam backgrounds”, “wallpapers”, “genre pack”) might turn it up.

Search your old drive / backups
Even if your Windows migrate lost it, maybe there are backups, “Windows.old” folder, external disks, or sync services (OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.).

Steam Community / Forums / Groups
Someone else might have saved the same pack. Try searching Steam Discussions (“Steam backgrounds giveaway”), or reddit/r/Steam, or wallpaper-sharing sites. Asking there might lead someone who also has the zip.

I am actively trying some of these.

One detail I do remember is it wasn't a "giveaway" like a contest, it was just on the front of the store page. I think it was for one of the summer sale events? It was during the covid isolation time (2020-2022/23?) if that gives a timeline as to when I had gotten it

Like I said it was closer to the peak of covid time, do you have any other wallpaper zips from around then?
