The STEAM Filter Interface Is A Counter-Intuitive Swamp of Cul-de-sacs
It is a frustrating commonality in the Steam community: due to the messy code and neglectful quality and user Beta Testing on this very interface's internal logic, which is counter-truthful; in short, INCOHERENT.
PLEASE fix it, so other Community Contributors who suffer from this so gol'durned frequently.
Frankly, I could do without it entirely.
I have just over a hundred games and about 15 of them I cannot see in my Library, simply because they are not yet installed.
the culprit is the lack of a button to DISABLE {show ONLY PLAYABLE GAMES}.
Disabling it is a snark hunt., or Pokemon, for your youngers.
Bottomline:
YOU PROFITED OFF MY PURCHASES AND I CANNOT ACCESS THEM.DUE TO YOUR WONKY, GLITCHY LASSITUDINOUS CODE. Programmers. They come a dime a dozen.
Or, is it some totally lame Large Language Program cannibalizing itself, to save money?
HOW ABOUT MY MONEY!

Click between installed, not installed and show all. Pick one.

If you're using the standard client (large) view: on the left hand side at the top of your list of games is a triangle in a circle. It should be blue. Click it. Now you'll see all your uninstalled games in the list, too. And if you hover over that triangle in a circle, it'll even tell you what it's doing.

If you're using small view, the same icon is right at the top on the right hand edge.

How to Get All Your Games Back

In the Library, look at the top left bar.

Find the drop-down filter (usually shows “Ready to Play” or “Installed”).

Change it to “All Games”.

This will make your full library appear, including uninstalled titles.

Optional: Right-click your game list → choose Sort by > Hidden to make sure nothing got hidden by accident.

If you want this as default, Steam should remember the “All Games” choice once you set it.
