Ubisoft login causing issues with my Steam purchases
I've been trying to get into Far Cry 3 and 4, products I purchased many years ago, and the newer (secondary) Ubisoft login that appeared several years after this purchase somehow got attached to the wrong email account. This account was one my school set up for me, and when I graduated they deleted it.

Ubisoft refuses to change the email associated with my account, stating that they can't verify the account... it's no longer in existence, and I have receipts for both games. Ubisoft support has been completely worthless in assisting me.

Has anybody else ran into this issue, and how did you fix it? I'm beginning to find that Steam support might be just as bad. There's no contact email anymore, and if my issue doesn't fit the few selections on the Steam support page, then I'm out of luck.

I just want to use the product I purchased, and at this point I feel like there's a class action level issue happening with Ubisoft. What is steam doing to protect its customers since Ubisoft is a business they've chosen to work with?

Steam support can not help you. This is a problem that UbiSoft support is the only source of help, as it is on there end.

To get an account attached to an email would mean you created that Ubisoft account for whatever reason with the mail address given by your school, and linked your steam account to that account..... Looks like a selfmade problem.

Steam never had an email support Adress.

There are only 2 solutions.

1 - You make a new Steam account and link it to the correct Ubisoft account and then buy the games again.

2 - You skip Steam and buy the games again on the correct Ubisoft account directly.

As you originally linked to an account created with an email address that no longer exists, there is no way to prove ownership, so rebuying is your only valid legal option.
