I don't think this system actually works lol
I checked a token blocked game Lust Goddess, I can check the store page now
The Community Hub is still blocked anyways
"This Community Hub is not available in your region."
I checked my account settings and all the Store and Community boxes are ticked, I unticked and re-ticked all the Community ones just to be sure
Since lets say there is a game that is flagged by this rule that you want more info on, if you cannot access the discussions/community hub for that, then you are gambling with your money on what could be a "product product" if you buy it, just to access the forums.
Ok, I think your the first person i've see say the AV system (kinda) 50% worked.
So it still doesn't seem right that even after your account is age verified that the forums (for games you don't own) are still blocked ?
According to Valves article :
And those "mature content types on the Store Preferences" page include both "Store Products" (store pages) and "Community Content" (forums) as seen below :
So clearly age verifying is not unlocking everything it should be doing.
Exactly !
Many people use the forums for a game as an invaluable source of info to make a purchasing decision for a game. I can't tell you the amount of times i've avoided issues with a game, just by taking a quick glance at it's respective forum.
