Any reason Steams customer support is so terrible?
I haven't even been able to play a game I bought on here because it wont even open. yet Steam is telling me I have payed for 6 hours. That's not even possible because it has never even been able to be opened. But there is no option to even have a discussion with steam customer support.

I had something similar on (I think) MS Flight Sim. It downloaded, and when I tried to open it it started downloading a large patch (or patches). The hours spent downloading and updating were counted as playing time. Could it be something like that?

A lot of the times the game may had loaded in the background but you never noticed if you are having technical issues with it unless you checked the task manager and that's all steam can see.

Try doing a manual ticket and see if you can get a refund doing that but whatever the response is the final say then.

the people they employ is a major reason, believe it or not most of them hate their job and they have bad attitudes, their job is policy, not help.
