People who complain about clowns are usually just intentionally goading people so as to farm the points.

Its literally just people giving you steam points for disagreeing with you, though the steam cosmetics you buy with those points aren't a big deal.

If op wanted clowns, they could just go into the discussions in any big game and make a post about "the game should have LGBT themes" and they'd rake up a bunch of them.

It's way too easy to clown farm.

They should absolutely not be removed! If you ask me, I would also like steam to introduce a new award in the form of a steaming turd!

I'm always happy to receive an award regardless, because it means someone paid attention to me, and felt strongly enough to give me some award. I'm also not too proud to get steam points. As I'm currently leveling up my steam profile, and I need points to purchase improvements.

if you cant handle people disagreeing with your opinion, then stop sharing it openly or grow up

I was given clown awards just for submitting a positive review for Star Wars Outlaws. I don't care about them. I don't feel bullied.

What I do care is people posting clearly bait posts just to farm clown awards. It creates a lot of unnatural fights on the discussion boards.

Jester awards give you points, forget what people mean when they give them to you and focus on the fact you're being given more points for the point store.
