GIFT CARDS

I went to buy a gift card to send to someone but you only have the option to send it straight away. I want to buy now and have it sent on that persons birthday as I wont be on Steam on that date. Come on Steam, make that an option will ya.

You may have misunderstood me. It does not give an option to send the gift card on a particular date. You have to send it straight away.

You can use your mobile phone from whereever you are. No PC needed.

Digital cards are instant. If you want to have it sent in their birthday I would consider buying a game for them.

Ettanin suggested using your mobile phone. You can buy the gift card that day even if you are not at home.

As far as I know, only game gifts can be delivered on a specific schedule.

Thank you Lilim. I understand now where Ettanin was coming from. That is a good idea. Still, I hope Steam will make this an option like they do when gifting games.
