Inventory Unavailable?
For some weeks now, everytime I try to look at my inventory, I get a message that says "You have made too many requests lately".

I also get this message wheter it'd be on browser, phone app, or just regular steam. It also comes up when I try to enter the comunity market.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

IP RATE Limiter, too many page requests have been sent from the IP address you are currently assigned by your ISP.

Change your IP address.

It is in place to stop browser add on's, Bot's, and off site skin / item trading websites, from bombing the marketplace servers and users inventories.

In other words, too many people who are assigned that IP address are all accessing steam... once a limit is hit on page requests, you will have a cooldown period before allowed more access.

So what? I have to use a VPN or something?

You can for the marketplace as long as your VPN server is still in the same region as you are.

you can call your isp, and ask for a static / private IP address assigned to your account, this is usually an additional fee.

you can also unplug your gateway / Modem, for 30 - 60 seconds, and plug it back in, and see if the random IP address assigned is different. (Be sure to also unplug any backup power supply for your gateway / modem..
Figured it out. I installed Hamachi to play I don't remember what game with some friends, but I just uninstalled it, and now it seems to be fixed, so I guess it was that.

If you have the same issue, don't use Hamachi I guess.
