Steam's saved recordings out of order
recently I moved over my steam recordings off my computers disk drive and over to one of my external ones to that has more storage on it. When i went over to steam to see if the new path was working, i found that my recordings were there but they are out of order. instead of being in the order that I saved them in there all scattered all over the place. I was hoping there was a way I could fix it but so far I think I might be the only one suffering from this. if any one could help I would truly appreciate it :)

Steam does not track the original save order, it sorts recordings by file name or date modified. If moving them changed timestamps, they will appear out of order. Try sorting the folder manually by name or date in your file explorer, then rename the files with a consistent prefix or numbering system to keep them in order. Steam will reflect the order based on that.

Hey, I came across the same issue, did you figure a way to sort it out? I'm struggling to make sense of it myself.

I haven't unfortunately, I think what the guy above me said is the only thing that we can do to get it back it to normal. I have way to many saves so it would take me forever to do it this way so I sort of just gave up on it ... sorry dude :(

No problem, thanks for responding. I personally just decided to export all my clips and start over since my manager kept crashing when I was scrolling through them all.
