It's great that you finally noticed this was a scam, but why did you send an email to an obviously fake address? Seriously, ask yourself, why would Valve need to conduct business from a gmail address?
Still, if you want to be doubly sure your account is safe, it won't hurt to do the following:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
7. Make sure your steam recovery email account is secure
Once again, you need to stop naming and shaming him / her / other. Steam operates a strict no 'name and shame' policy. Violating this policy could result in a forum ban.

Regardless. If they have messaged you on Steam, then report them. You cannot use the forums to name and shame anyone.

As for saying the name, I told you. It's because it's violates Steam policies which you agreed to. You may wish to review these policies again.
It's extremely likely the scammer is using a fake name and that name could be the name of a completely innocent person which is why you should never name them. Always report and move on. Let the moderators handle it.
If you wish to continue violating the policies you agreed to, then that's on you. Just be aware that there will be consequences as a result.
Yes i understand you want to make people aware of the "scam" and the people involved. But keep in mind, by the time someone gets scammed, like yourself, it is already to late.

Is it "naming and shaming" when they're just saying the fake name that the scammers use in lots of scams? This isn't a real user, any more than that "Steam fraud officer" (whatever name they use for that one) in the other scams is.
