Hm, Steam actually does pretty good with controller support.

But that's a "Steam Controller" and like anything else Mr Newell has put out, with the exception of Steam Deck, a paperweight.

I suggest a wired Xbox 360 controller.

i see. i was editing desktop layout but it would change back, and theres no way to apply a desktop config to a game config, you also have to open the controller config from the library option... very confusing
