Everyone uses same game version

Multiplayer games require you to be on the same version as the servers.
So you have to update them to play.
Single player games, if you stay in offline mode you won't get updates, but if you are running mods, the mod makers tend to update their mods with the latest version of the game.

Like, there should be an option for auto updates if a game is single player (Cyberpunk/Kingdome Come II) steam auto updatres, but Multiplayer (CS, BF6) it doesnt haha. Like I only need my bandwidth if im trying to shoot someone faster then they shoot me haha.
