And sales are as good as they've always been. If games you want are on sale and you can finally guy them, yay for you! If you can't, then oh well, better luck next time!
People get pretty darn entitled.
Apart from that, those "sweeet digital prices" are still there. I gut a bunch of stuff off my wishlist (and a few games game that weren't on my wishlist but had some really sweet discounts) during the autumn sale.
Prices have steadily rose over time, in general.
That's inflation etc - it's like a balloon, when something bad happens..
