The only way to fix this is to have ubisoft support unlink the hacker’s account.
How did he link his account if your Ubi account was already linked?
i lowkey have no clue, after i downloaded ghost recon again and then click play and then logging in with ubisoft connect, it said "Game linked to a different account" then i contacted ubisoft support, this is what they said "I understand that your Steam account was hacked and your are unable to play Ubisoft games because you are receiving an error message saying that the game is already linked with another account.
In order to proceed with your request, we'd kindly ask you to create a new ticket through the following link: (link)" i clicked that link and what it did was just keep redirecting me to my case not to the link it was supposed to
Your PC is your responsibility
The first thing I'd do is change every password. Close up any unused accounts I have created. Install the mobile authenticator on my account. Invest in top of the line security software, and run all sorts of security scans. I'd even uninstall and reinstall Windows. Anything and everything that'd make me feel safe again. I'd also probably private my entire account.
So what do I find when I look at your account. Lo and behold it's an open welcoming space. I can even see your inventory with pages worth of cards. Which begs the question why weren't they stolen, or at least rendered into gems out of frustration. The point of hacking into the account is to steal the contents, but nothing seems to have been stolen.
I'm going to guess you felt getting hacked. Was a little less embarrassing then reality. Which was you just forgot your password. Which you seem to have remembered. As you played that game today. In the future if you're going to pretend to get hacked. At least act like someone who's been violated.
Next time write down the password on some paper, and then put that paper someplace you will remember. It's a good idea to do that with all of your passwords. That way you can make those passwords really complex. Hackers aren't there to play your games. They're there to steel your inventory. They'd have done something one way or the other.
Ubisoft, might be complete ass right now as company, but they released plenty of good games
