So I'm 38, in the UK, have an almost 20 year old account and a debit card attached to it and purchases going back to bloody 2009. What am I supposed to do if I don't HAVE a smegging Credit Card, Steam? Even my Dad doesn't have a Credit Card and he's in his 60s!

Get a credit card. That's the only option that Steam is accepting at the moment. That might change but there's been no guarantee that another option will become available.

Play an active role in forcing your government to drop the silly nanny state law that caused this mess in the first place. It's that, or get a credit card.
