Steam safety sucks and is annoying.
I am restricted from marketplace for about 6 days because i changed my password. It really is annoying and i cant write them in privat... The support does nothing to fix small problems (I want to buy something for 70 cents) . Like i can verify myself as the owner of my own account, then why should i wait 6 days for it to expire ? This is so stupid and i think it needs to be changed.

Changing your password does not restrict you BUT resetting it does.

It is a 5 day restriction for an active account.

An inactive account (one not used for months) all of a sudden needing to reset the password is suspicious for Valve and is restricted for 30 days.

It's been this way since the beginning.

Nothing about it is new.

Everything is over a decade old.
