Why can´t buy a game to my son account ?
I live on pension in Thailand and when my son asked for a game I could not buy it as he lives in Finland. I can´t understand this policy... it is not our fault that these same games are here in Thailand like half the price they are in Europe. Very dictator rule !

Different country, different currency and taxes. Makes total sense to me that it isn't allowed.

When the difference in price between regions is over a certain amount (10% IIRC) you cannot gift the game. You can blame all the people who abused the ability to gift from cheaper regions for this crackdown.
It is interesting to me that certain games aren't allowed in certain areas around the globe. I get that laws may prohibit certain titles but the regulation of taxes and harsh rule on content is strict and in a lot of cases, unfair. But alas, we can't change that so tough luck I guess

Be a better parent and deal with it. Kids shouldnt own gaming PC's anyway they will click a shady link and leak your info.:cf_Taokaka:

You do realise that you remain a parent to your child even when your child is an adult, right? The facts that OP is on a pension and living in a different country to their son, should have clued you in that this was the likely case here.
