Warning: battlenet is literal malware.
Reinstalled blizzards vile launcher after a long time of not using it. Wanted to play starcraft 2 again. Games that have been working just fine started to stutter even when that ♥♥♥♥ launcher is turned off.

Sir, this is a Wendy's.
I dunno man, I've run battlenet for years on multiple systems, can't say I've experienced issues like you described. And correlation doesn't necessarily equal causation.

Methinks you might need a bit more evidence for your claims, because if all you got is an anecdote, mine cancels yours out.
That sucks; I wish old StarCraft was on GOG like Diablo is

Im going to assume you mean the malware claim. He said that his computer isn’t running the game properly. That sucks.
Very broad statement. So, because you're having problems it must be malware.

The malware claim is the only important thing to really focus on, tbh. But yes, that's what I was referring to.

I use Battle.net daily without any issues with performance.

This is on your end.

No issue here.
Given that it's made by Microsoft I very much doubt it's a virus.
ITT: OP doesn't know what "malware" is...
Can't you just run it without running the launcher? I thought there was a file that you can run, and then you don't have to run the launcher.

Look in your installation directory for a file called "SC2Switcher." Try running that.

Zero issues with the Battlenet client nor any games on it including Starcraft II.
