Just ignore them. If you find something worth buying, enjoy playing it.
a) ranting
b) having the attention span of a demented fly
The last thing has always been better if you've long forgotten how it actually was.
It's pretty much tradition at this point, every new sales is always "the worst sales ever".
But more than that, long-term Steam users might find sales disappointing because they have been there for a long time and they already got most of the games they wanted, so whatever remains may not have the discount they expected.
And there's also some delusionnal people expecting the last AAA game released last month to somehow have a -90% discount.
No, I still don't want to connect my account to Microsoft and no, I won't download launcher XY - unfortunately It's especially those conpanies trying to hook you to their ecosystem due to sales.
Or if one of those older games IS at it’s all time low, but is regularly discounted for that same price and hasn’t hit a new all time low for years-what’s my incentive to buy it during THIS sale?
Those are my main complaints. A few games meet my criteria and I’ll probably end up picking up at least a handful, but I’ll also probably pick up more from Fanatical because even during the Steam sale, many of the sale prices on Fanatical are simply better.
COMPLAINING IS NATURAL IN HUMAN SPECIES
I rarely buy from the major seasonal sales these days because that's the case for me as well, but it's not really a huge deal for me. I don't exactly need more games that I won't play lol.
Gamer buys a game.
Gamer plays the game. They enjoy it.
Next sale comes around. Game is on sale.
But Gamer has already played the game!
Oh no! There are no games that the Gamer likes on sale because they've already bought it!
Repeat process one thousand times.
If the only thing left is games you don't want, it's going to keep looking worse and worse.
