I have a computer lab
I purchased a whole bunch of computers so I could play test the games I make and have LAN parties. In order to play some of games at the LAN parties, such as Company of Heroes and Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, each computer needs its own Steam account. Steam does not like this. It took some finagling, using Gmail tricks and, most importantly, emails registered to the domain I owned, to get accounts for all of them. I then purchased a bunch of games for each account.

I recently decided to not renew the domain, so now many of the email addresses I used don’t work. I tried using the “I don’t have access to this email address” option when logging in, but I end up in endless cycles of captcha.

I think at some point, knowing I might give up the domain, I switched the accounts over to the Gmail address trickery. The trickery is that Gmail ignores all stuff after a plus sign, so I would enter the account’s email address as [my email]+LAN01@gmail.com, and all emails to that address go to my inbox.

I think switching the emails confused Steam. It doesn’t let me use the gmail addresses to log in, but it still has them listed as being associated with the account.

Any help? I have hundreds of dollars worth of games locked in accounts I can’t access because Steam thinks I’m key farming or something.

You'll most likely have to go through the account recovery process for each.

Going forward though, look into utilizing Steam's PC Cafe service:

Ouch, that’s rough. Yeah, Steam doesn’t really like tricks with emails, so recovery is probably your only way out. Best bet is to contact Steam Support for each account and explain the domain situation. And yeah, for setups like a computer lab it’s way easier (and legit) to use the Steam PC Café program.
