New Discovery queue is trash :: Steam Discussions

New Discovery queue is trash

I almost NEVER watch videos from games. And when I do I click in multiple places of a video to get series of "screenshot" to get better understanding of what it is. I always look for screenshots. You can't do this in new discovery queue. What the point of this new queue at all?

I agree for the same reasons..
I access my queue thru the store tab in the upper left and it uses the old style.

Oh, good to know. I just checked it and I also can see old queue there.

Yeah, that's a weird one. When I use the discovery queue I want to quickly glance at screenshots, reviews, tags and rating. Weird thing is it plays a quick preview of the video before it plays the video so you cant just quickly skip through it.

Just checked my queue and there is no next button so I am stuck with the first game and can't do anything.

*edit - I was able to navigate the queue using arrows on my keyboard. So they've removed the next button and we used keys instead!?

No, for me there were some small (round?) buttons on the right. Maybe separated from main block, maybe inside a block. I didn't pay much attention, just clicked through all queue to get those rewards.

Ah I see them now. For some reason they aren't showing on my default view and I have to stretch the client to make them appear.

You can still use the old Discovery Queue.

Didn't the discovery queue become trash when they started giving out stickers instead of cards? I haven't done one since.

Nah, that's something recent. Probably came with new UI.
