Where to Buy Official Steam Wallet Codes in Bulk?
Hi everyone, I’m from Nepal and I’m trying to figure out how to buy Steam wallet codes in bulk so I can resell them to other players here. Does anyone know the best way or platform to do this for Nepal? Any guidance would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

You can add funds to your Steam wallet through the Steam client.

You can add funds to your Steam wallet through the Steam client. However, in Nepal it is not easy to use this method directly. A dollar card is required, and it comes with extra costs, making it accessible only to a few. Most of us do not have direct access to add funds. That is why using a Steam wallet is more convenient here. I have been using Steam for over 10 years, and buying wallet codes has always been expensive. So, I am considering providing this service to fellow gamers at a fair price, while keeping only a small margin of profit.

Unless you're a business that is licensed to sell Steam gift cards (which are just wallet funds) and have a deal with Steam to do so in your country, you can't do it any other way without violating their ToS.

You would have to partner with Valve, much like how Degica does for Japan, and other companies do in other countries. Simply reselling codes you purchased elsewhere won't cut it. That opens you up to legal action and/or losing your Steam account should Valve decide to act.

You are not allowed to make a business out of it unless you got Valve's explicit written consent.

Because Nepal is not a supported market by Valve, Nepal defaults to the USD_SASIA region and therefore has no national Steam wallet card distributor. The only supported payment method is a credit card that accepts payment in U.S. Dollars.

The licensing process is difficult, and with the small profit margins on gift cards, the costs would outweigh the earnings, making the whole idea impractical and unprofitable. Thanks for clarification... :D
Things like this are always a service for existing established retailers for the behalf of customers rather than a profitable business opportunity. A wallet transaction is a like-for-like purchase so if someone wants a $10 gift card, they pay you $10 and you pay Valve $10 to print the receipt essentially. You will also need to rent a compatible ePOS terminal or have a link with Valve's network on your existing till. This costs money.

Some major retailers have even started winding down their operations with selling gift cards because it's not viable for them.

Thanks, I was thinking the same ... they don’t really make a profit, but I was wondering why they sell without profit. I guess it’s just a service for customers, not for earnings. Thanks for reply.

Because it gets people to visit their store, with the high possibility they will end up buy more then just a giftcard.
