I was about 10 minutes from finishing the download for dying light when it suddenly reset to having only 5 gb downloaded. I can clearly see the download file taking up 35gb of space so I know steam is messing up.

I already tried backing up the file and resetting the download, then replacing the brand new files with mine. steam then recognizes my original files but still sets the download at 5 gb.

any solution would be appreciated as my internet is very slow and this will take me about 20 hours to complete.
