None. Valve will not restore funds or items that have left the account for any reason. The security of your account is your responsibility. If you were using Steam like a bank account, let this be lesson to you to stop.

It's capped at 2000 USD. The equivalent in a local currency could be stated as significantly higher value. In my currency for example, it would be just under 300,000.

Section 1 C Steam Subscriber Agreement. You are fully responsible for the security of your Steam account and therefore for all actions and consequences of said actions that were performed with your account.

The only exception applies when Steam had a significant data breach, not when your account got hijacked by phishing or malware.

I know that but.....then one should clarify what currency he is using, as for example 12k yen are roughly.........70€ right now (around 80 USD).

Given that their profile says Philippines. I'm going to assume that it's their peso, and that they've been taken for $260 USD. As others have rightly pointed out Valve wont do anything. You'll need to take the matter to law enforcement. Whether they will or can even act on your accusation.

Well you still probably wont get your money back, but law enforcement can use just the report. To build a future case against cyber criminals, and the organizations they may be working with. The reality is criminals are often criminals due to being stupid, and stupid people walk up to ATM's.

I'd report the crime to your local law enforcement.
