Theres alot of empty Space and it overall just looks worse, the way Search bar works now is also alot more annoying, nevermind that navigating it also takes more clicks overall now. Its bad, it might LOOK good for people but its a straight downgrade

this is a valid point. I kinda agree, but honestly I'm okay with it taking a tiny bit longer to get to where I'm goin if it means it looks a little nicer. Although I do agree its a bit empty in some parts

When the correct way is just to start new with the new thing.

Accesibility and usability. You really don't need the content spread wide so you have to bounce like a tennis ball back and forth to read the content, it gets tiresome and people lose focus.

They use the right amount of space.

why should we just mindlessly accept using a new inferior thing like sheep when the old thing worked perfectly fine and better? why should we accept them not adding a toggle for old ui and just accept them changing code to block ui mods?
how would you like it if someone broke into your home, removed all tv's and monitors and replaced them with crt's then banned you from getting a new tv or monitors and told you to just get used to it? sure you could get used to it but that dose not make it any less dystopian.
