Do mal-games get removed from accounts as well as the store ?
I'm just wondering, if a game becomes malicious via an update, and then gets removed from the store. Does it also get removed from your account ? or does the update just get rolled back and the game just stays in your account ?

If it's the latter of the two, does the user at least get some sort of notification that the game was found to be malicious ?

Like for example the people that bought block blasters - is the game still in their games list and available to boot up ? And did they get e-mails letting them know about the situation - even if they never tried playing the game ?

I believe it is removed from all accounts that bought it. I am unsure about if the person actually gets a email or a refund. You would have to ask specifically steam support.
There is usually a refund in such cases.
Assuming the game had actually been purchased

I see. I've been trying to see if there is any FAQ info on this subject anywhere. But valve don't appear to have any info sources on this topic yet. I guess they think it's so uncommon that it doesn't need to be included in any FAQ info anywhere :(

It's also common sense that Valve would not allow anyone to continue playing games with malware in them. Removing them is the safest course
