Pishing/hacking attempt
There appears to be (yet another) pishing attempt by hackers going around. A few hours ago I go an out of the blue message from a friend on steam asking if I would "help them". I was asked to vote for a team in CS2 tournament so that they could play etc. And was sent a link to a third party site. This then "requires" you to log in and returned failed login attempts, at which point its already too late.
Hopefully news of this gets around quickly and no one falls victim to it.

The "Vote for my team" variants of the phishing scam link has been going around for over a decade.

sigh, like a off topic PSA is going to help anyone before they get greedy and scammed.

This isnt new or news. Anyone gullible enough to click a link froma stranger and then willingly put their information in, is frankly, beyond help.
