Achievements
How do you feel about achievements? I have a love/hate relationship with them. On the one hand I'd prefer not to deal with them at all. When I play on my Switch 2 I find it liberating to only play as much of a game and in the way that I want to without feeling pressured to meet specific criteria.
On the other hand i do get that dopamine hit when I unlock an achievement. Then there's the fact that achievements don't mean all that much on Steam as opposed to the closed platforms of Xbox and PlayStation since they can be cheated.

Never cared about achievements, they're meaningless, the game being enjoyable is all that matters.
Personally, couldn't care less. They bring nothing to the table for me.

It depends for me honestly. For some games I will hunt for achievements because I love the game and I think that plus my playtime shows my live for it. For others I want to show that I have done as much as I can and can say with a certain authority that its garbage. Regardless they don't matter really, the only ones I hate are the ones that require a bad multilayer portion in a single player game *cough* *cough* far cry.
Kinda fun to get as they entice me to do things i wouldn't normally do in a game, thus extending my playtime.

But i am generally indifferent to their existence. I don't even care enough to SAM the ones I'm missing.

I might do the achievements that are simple enough to do, and ignore the rubbish ones.
Why need Switch 2?

when i finished cyberpunk i was very happy with myself and looking at the achievements afters gave me more of a reason to have dopamine. or whatever.

Sony called them trophies back in the ps3 era (idk about now) so, achievements/trophies either way you spell it. they are a good idea

I regret buying my Switch 2 so much.😄
Don't care if they exist or not most of the time though I sometimes do them when I'm bored if they don't require too much effort to achieve.
