WANTED: Functioning Steam for Windows 7 Download Link
While my game PC is under repair, I am using my older laptop with its Windows 7.
To continue keeping all my Steam games up-to-date on the external drives, I am in need of a link to a URL where i can download a Steam version for Windows 7.

Please answer only, if you have a functioning link to such a URL. Thanks.

No official link. And download servers have been updated with new compression routines that are not supported by Windows 7. So even you were able to get one, you'd have a difficult time downloading/updating anything.

You could try oldversiondotcom, it used to be on there. It’s going to be a nightmare though as you won’t be able to go online or update/install anything.

Also, last I heard, the official client was so broken under Win 7, it would not even download games.
