if you think steam is so outdated, i only can suggest you to run and use other games launchers like gog, epic,♥♥♥♥♥♥♥,eashit, battlenet and so one xd
I dont give a single
GOG, for their anti-DRM policy alone.
I don't agree but to have proper discussion about it you'd need to first point to a client that you think is better than Steam and how it's better otherwise this is just a poor bait post.
"Just because I have no issues, means nobody has issues!"
Except OP did not specify what exactly is outdated (glitches and errors make client broken/malfunction, not outdated. Also all software has errors and glitches, they generally just don't affect most users.) in Steam client nor provide example of client that is better.
DRM-free is a policy, not a client and there are DRM-free games on Steam, likely more than there are games available on GOG platform actually. It's also up to devs and publishers whether or not they want their games to be DRM-free or not.
But let's stick to the topic shall we, that is Steam Client supposedly being outdated. So tell us why do you think GOG Galaxy Client is better that Steam Client? What features it does better than Steam? What features does Galaxy Client have that are missing on Steam Client?
In general, the feature to have offline installers and to be able to launch games without the client active are the two reasons I like GOG more. However, I'll concede that Steam's UI is cleaner and a lot more easy to navigate. I suppose it's a matter of preference on things like that, so I can't objectively say "oh man, GOG is better!" when it comes to client functionality.
