I can't send a support request
I was having a problem with something else and when I tried to send a support request a pop-up came up saying "A parameter is incorrect (8)". I completely restarted Steam and, it didn't change anything. I started over my computer, and it didn't change anything. I tried to send in a report for this new problem and, the same pop-up came up stopping me from reporting it. I was already frustrated with my original problem, so this is just the cherry on top. What do I do? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 😮‍💨

Gabe Newell's email is on Valve's website. Thats probably the only way to contact them to tell them that their support page doesn't accept tickets. Any other questions might result in telling you to send a support request ticket.

Are you saying to try to get Gabe Newell to respond to me or does Steam also do support through his email?
Steam only does support through support tickets.
Gabe as a businessman should recognize the problem of nobody being able to make support tickets and force his system administrators to fix the problem.

According to this graph it does seem that there are at least some support tickets being created.

Get your answer from Gabe. Might be a configuration issue with your computer, or maybe something wacky in their server room.

300k+ Support tickets submitted in the last 24 hours. Doesn't sound like a problem with the ticket system.

Are you being for real? If you're trolling then that's pretty funny, but not nice to do with someone trying to get help. If you're being genuine then I'm sorry to break it to you, but multi-billionaire Gabe newell will not respond to someone to help them with a steam glitch. LMAO
Error 8 usually means out of space or general server issues.

I guess they dropped the email address from public site...
But if you happen to sit through the Developer Commentary for Team Fortress 2 he says his own email address...

No, it means invalid parameter.

disk full is 54 and generic error is 2.

😭 Dude, Gabe newell is not gonna read my email. He probably doesn't even use that email anymore. He is a multi. billionaire. It's not even his job to deal with that stuff. I seriously don't want to hurt your feelings, but what planet are you living on? 🤦
I also can't contact Steam support about missing booster packs. I followed the Help Wizard in this way: Trading, Gifting, Market and Steam Points > Items > My items are missing or stolen > Items not properly awarded. On that final page there's no link to contact Steam. I found ways to contact them via unrelated issues, but I don't want to do that.

So, Steam, you say I'm eligible for 3 booster packs, but none have shown up in my Inventory. What gives?

So what can I do about that?

This is still happening, it is October.

it's very clear they don't actually have anyone working tickets or even working on the ticket system.

mmm sounds like no ones actually working on these tickets though... if no one has been able to submit a ticket for several months.
