i saw xqc with 2300$, I think 2000$ is just the limit after which you can't load anymore. Many people sell knives on cs2 on cs market I doubt they are capped to 2000 if they have multiple items on sell

It will exceed the maximum limit but may not show as the full amount.

Refunding brings the exact money that you had purchased to your wallet. In other words, it will still be 2000 USD afterwards.

To explain it to you, 2000-10=1990. And if it is refunded, 1990+10=2000.
If the wallet has been topped up to 2000 in the meantime = 2010

that was where i trying to know, if i have 2000usd in wallet, gifted a 100usd game to my friend, and top up to 2000usd again. if my friend decline the gift, will my wallet be 2100 (2000+100) usd?

do you mean the following:

>2000 in steam wallet

> but use a different payment method (not steam wallet funds) to gift game of X dollars to a friend

> friend can't run the game and refunds it

> does your steam wallet now contain 2000 + X?

like that ^ ?

i think the refund request, when you complete it, you can ask to have the funds re-directed to your payment method, and not your steam wallet? i believe that's an option.

if not much time has passed, you can make a quick steam ticket about it, and ask about redirecting the funds, i did that once clicking the wrong menu by accident, and they sorted it no problem for me. maybe try that!
