Phishing Scam Help
Hi all,

I'll admit it outright that I got punished by the FACEIT phishing scam by a person who had hacked into my friend's account and impersonated them. I don't play CSGO 2 anymore, so I haven't really been paying attention to current phishing in the game. Therefore, I really didn't think anything of it... stupid mistake.

I am mainly reaching out because my items are still in trade protection until tomorrow, but it is not showing that I have any trades that I can reverse. This is weird to me because I know that there is there new policy in place to reverse trades within 7 days. Does anybody know how to go about *potentially* fixing this? Was there a setting turned off when they accessed my account? Or am I just out of luck here?

did you secure your account? if not, do it NOW

Steps to take NOW to secure the account:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
6. If points were stolen, do a password RESET to cancel the awards/points before they are delivered
