Latest Steam Client update fails continuously.
For some reason every time I try to update steam to the latest patch it fails continuously. Does anyone have any Idea why? Are there known issues? Could it be to do with Secure boot being turned on? Or some other such setting. Thankfully steam reverts to the last version just fine but I am confused as to why the patch will not work.

when that happened to me it was because of an update that got corrupted for whatever reason. I fixed it by deleting everything in the package folder, then it redownloaded properly

I managed to fix it by completley uninstalling steam and reinstalling it on C drive it was previously on D drive. Not sure if it was the reinstall or the relocation but it worked.
