Discussion forums becoming more and more like Reddit.
Redditors used to stay in their containment zone, but the scourge of Redditors have made their way into here.
>self proclaimed intellectuals, usually some brand of high horse they can't get off of.
>people being intentionally contrarian to an autistic extent
>you don't see them in a lot of games but in a lot of games "The game doesn't have group x/y/z therfore it must be x/y/z-phobic" everywhere. (insane asylum behaviour).

I get these "people" are everywhere. What I'm saying is that Reddit is the epicenter of this outbreak and it's been spreading here lately.

Stay in your containment zone. (reddit). Literally another forum, you don't need to come here. You'd get more validation there anyway.

Block list exists, if you dislike something someone says that doesn't break ToS. Utilize it.

Try not to find woke garbage (impossible) challenge: look at front page of TF2 forums. Wasn't like that a couple years ago.

Every game hub is rife with award baiting, pro and anti-woke. That's sadly, the drawback of awards existing.

What I'm saying is that it wasn't like this even a couple years ago, even with the awards. This is a recent and relatively sudden change in course.

Yes, people found that jester is the easiest award to farm, via outrage baiting.

Which is why you now see so many "More LGBT+ representation" or "Is this game woke/woke sucks" topics in pretty much every video game that gets a tiny bit of exposure.

Awards are older than just a few years now, however the outrage bait is still relatively new in comparison. Which is exactly what those topics are, outrage/jester bait.
