Why the 15th to 31st December is Excluded from Steam’s Annual Replay?
I wonder why the period from December 15th to 31st isn’t included in the Annual Replay stats.
I play a lot during the Christmas holidays, and I wouldn’t want my progress to be lost during this time

Because that is the cut off point Valve decided on.
Play an extra few minutes each day throughout the year and you'll make up for any lose from between those dates. :spazwinky:

I don't recall exactly, but don't they include those two weeks as part of the following year, or are they just excluded completely?

None of it.

What dates of playtime are included?
Steam Year In Review 2023 includes all of your play time between the first second of January 1 and the last second of December 14 (GMT).

In the FAQ it says they cover the playtime from the first second of january 1 to the last second of December 14
but I don’t understand why the last 14 days are lost
