Why do I have to login and do steam guard for every purchase now?
Previously I would not have to login (when already logged in to my steam app) when making purchases. Sometimes steam would not even ask me for 3 digit credit card security code. Now suddenly I am having to login full name and password and do steam guard for every single purchase. Did something change for everyone?

your pc might not be keeping the security token active after you close out the client or the app or the website.
This happened to me as well. No idea why. A real pain to say the list.

Not everyone has a "perfect" security at home. Purchases requiring an actual validation of the user making them isn't a big deal, and if it's new (I don't remember the details when making a purchase on Steam) then Steam was likely seeing to many cases where people with physical access to a box made purchases that they weren't support to make.

Believe me, it’s better to enter 3 digits again than to receive an sms notification on the way to work that the funds have been written off to zero! and get a heart attack 😁

Same here, login to purchase even when I'm already logged in
