Steam self adds games to my wishlist

For some time now, Steam has been adding games to my wishlist on its own. After deleting them, they come back after a while. Always the same ones, SOS, METRO, and two that don't exist. How do I get rid of them permanently? Additionally, despite choosing the compact list view, Steam stubbornly returns to the expanded view.

The wishlist currently doesn't save any settings, after the latest update they did to it, they broke something. I personally did not remove any games from that list, aside from games permanently delisted and they never came back. So no idea if that is related to it. I would say that you need to wait for further updates to the wishlist and see if your problem also get fixed. Nothing you can do about it.

No the wish list got updated and they are games you added and were hidden (removed from steam) years ago.. just resurfaced.

i tested this by deleting my wishlist a while ago, and making sure i got promo emails for things on my "wishlist", and I just got an email for some ship sailing game demo "on my wishlist" added on 5/13/2025 and I ain't added it lol went to look and saw a couple more on there "no longer available" games lol Imma go look see how to disable wishlist, so they can't advertise that way to me anymore lol
