Points shop bugged?

I've noticed a couple of strange things regarding the points shop recently.

Some games don't show their points shop items on the store page. For example, Greedfall definitely has points shop items (searchable both on steamcardexchange and Steam market), but the game's store page doesn't show the respective box under the "languages" and "achievements".

Also, I've recently reinstalled Dawn of War 3 and noticed that its points shop page is unaccessible. If I click "Points Shop" button in the library, it opens a blank page. Besides, the game is not even searchable from the main points shop screen, where you can ususally filter items!

Did I miss some changes to the shop, or is it just another Steam bug?

I'm having the same issue, some items on the point shop are simply not appearing. Though not 100% of the items are gone, a few remain like emojis and etc.

I've contacted Steam support and got a reply that they are aware of the issue. Hopefully, it will be fixed sooner or later.

It seems, like developers can choose to have their emotes and backgrounds, that you can get from crafting badges, in the points shop or not.

I've noticed, that several of my anime-themed games from Bandai Namco have no points shop, despite having items. Those often have higher market value, than most other trading cards, emotes and backgrounds. Apparently enough value, to pull it from the points shop, to incentivise people to buy them from the market instead. Developers get a cut from market-transactions involving their items.

I noticed this on Wednesday and assumed it was the usual post-Maintenance oddity. It's annoying to find the Shop bugged on one of the rare times I actually want to buy something.

I keep encountering more and more bugged Points Shop pages. I'd like to make sure that the issue is not on my side. Can anyone tell me how many items you see on this page, for example:

I see only 1 emoticon, what is clearly not right.

This page shows only 3 backgrounds, while there should be 6.

Wow this is still an issue in 2025 with certain games like Master Chief Collection and Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

Items dropped from crafting badges are supposed to also show in the point shop as well, the emoticons and profile backgrounds.

Animated profile backgrounds and mini profile backgrounds, animated avatars, profile frames and animated stickers are only available on the point shop and will not drop from crafting badges.

That is incorrect. Game devs must add points shop items for there to be points shop items. It is neither automatic nor mandatory.

Yes but if a game has trading cards the items dropped from crafting badges the emoticons and backgrounds will also show in the points shop and can be bought there or unless it doesn't anymore but I remember it did once. Sorry if I am wrong.
