often there is almost nothing done in term of coding from the developer who put the game on steam.

must be a hell to go through them.
Yesterday my count showed 12k, now 10.660.
I'm not mad about it though, since it was about time they brought the trash out. lol
But we do know why. They all belonged to the same publisher who had like 20 different "smurf" studios to publish their asset rips shovelware.

And since Steam terminated their relationship with the publisher all the smurf publisher accounts got terminated too. Thats why its been so many games at once.
Shovelwares / asset flips.
Games don't vanish from the store without a proper reason.
If you're a collector (badge collector), it's never a good idea to purchase cheap junk that ends up being pulled.
On the other hand, this stuff is gold for removed games collectors.
