I loved this game back in the day and wanted it for my steamdeck I just got, but there's a lot of people saying the DRM ruins it? Can someone explain what that is or how it ruins the game?

Capcom has started adding a new kind of DRM called "Enigma" to older games and this is one of them. For those who don't know, this DRM prevents modding and using cheat engine. So it seems the blood restoration finally came through and now i'm curious what the scene is for modding for the game currently as it seems like the guide maker that has compiled a list of how to mod the game (ie sound, music, etc) mentioned there will be some upcoming updates, whether that means guide looks prettier or an increase in modding capabilities remains to be seen.
