Confused about New Game+

How do you get new game plus?
I finished the Game in Story Mode and doing Miss Elisha's journal.
If there a New Game+ where you replay the main campaign and certain things carry over?
Or is it not available because I played Story Mode?
(I want to get the Oriental Pirate DLC and replay the game)

You need to complete the game in Officer Mode or General Mode to unlock New Game+.

Quoting the description of New Game+:
"Funds and faction reputations will be inherited. Existing items will be sold at their selling prices for funds. You receive 1.5x EXP in battles. Character who has already joined the army starts in a low-level state. Inherited characters cannot join or be persuaded again. Inherited characters may still leave the army in certain levels. When you start the New Game+ mode with Desaix in your army, Antoinette will also join.
Are you sure you want to start the New Game+ mode with this saved data?"
