Late to the party...
Who knew the French spoke in Chinese back in the day?
Very... uh... immersive.
Jokes aside, they could have just left out all the voice acting in a game like this...
I for one turned OFF the voice in the settings the moment I heard the characters speak in Chinese. I guess it's my fault for not checking that SMALL section on the game's Steam page regarding the language found in the game.

I don't understand Chinese OR French. It could have been in Esperanto for all I care. The voice acting added personality to the characters and, for me, it was better to have that than not, even if it's not accurate.

I doubt modern French VA would be entirely accurate either, and period correct VA is asking too much for a game this size.

I'm playing this game with zero voice acting either way, I never needed them since I'm old school... because I'm OLD.
