Can my CPU handle this?

HP laptop with:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7600U CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.90 GHz with internal graphics
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)

I want to upscale 800*600 resolution to 2560*1440 Monitor
The game is Icewind Dale 2 (Infinty Engine, same as OG Baldurs Gate 1-2)

Will my CPU handle this 2k upscaling? I am wary to cook my internal Graphic Core, it is 8y.o. laptop.
