This is the tenth episode of the Developer's gameplay series by our team and it features the Norwegian Campaign scenario from the recently released Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom game. Any chance of a video or tutorial or maybe just some good hints on how to win at default or harder levels (as @wolf1455 suggests) in really tough maps such as Burma and others* ?
I've played this map and maps like it* so many times, and I just can't crack it. Its the same on some others* and I am not usually all that bad at these types of games normally but for me Strategic Mind is just a cruel beast!
I've re-started so often: I try to ensure I enter the challenging scenarios as well placed as possible with gold or absolute victories in the scenarios before and I always check out the Supply map & force mix, but as ever, I manage to play successfully with earlier maps with a fun challenge and then i seem to hit a brick wall map like 'Burma' or the 'First Battle of Kiev' where the difficulty seems to sky rocket upwards and basically my play-through ends there.
These maps seem almost to be puzzles I can't crack as my conventional play just results in me gradually getting destroyed.
Is there anything fundamental that I might be doing wrong?
Happy for others to chip in as its driving me nuts.
I would love to record more operations in my playthrough, and most likely I will. Problem is that free time is very short for me right now, so that is a bit problematic. So, if you do not want to wait for me to cover all of those battles (and I might not be able to play all of them) you could watch other players' playthroughs. Here are a couple of channels I would recommend:

Difficulty is challenging, all missions have been accomplished with 400 victory points so far
