No Sound on Windows 10? Disable Microphone Access!
Just tying this out again and I got the no sound bug. I realized (by looking at the toolbar) that this game was accessing the microphone in my headset.

I went to the Microphone Settings in Control Panel and turned off Desktop App Access to the Microphone and then the sound started working.

Another fix is to set your sound device (in the 'recording' tab) to the 'Stereo Mix' device as default. This actually needs done for a lot of older games. It's typically a 'hidden' device so you'd need to enable 'show hidden devices' then click it and select 'enable.'
