Game crashes after 1-2 minutes
The game crashes for me after just 1-2 minutes to desktop without any error message. I've tried it multiple times with different settings, it's always the same.
What can I do about it?

Let's see if we can figure this out. Does it play the intro video at all?

Yes it does. I can start the game or enter the options menu, but after about 2 minutes the game just exits to desktop without any kind of error message. I can also do adjustments in the options menu or start the game itself before the crashes happen.

Sorry I was so late to reply! I thought I had alerts turned on for this!

Can you tell us your specs please? Thankfully it seems no one else has reported this issue. I've checked what processes are happening and nothing seems to be triggering after about 2 minutes from start up.

I have the Intel NUC Crimson Canyon, i3-8121U, Radeon RX 540 (2GB VRAM) with 8GB DDR4 RAM. Game installed on an M.2 SSD. Not a really powerful system I know...

I think it might be your specs. I think Unreal Engine 4 has a lot of processes going on in the background that might be too much.

Thanks for keep me updated.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll have another look but I'm really sorry it's crashing for you. I'll post an update if I find anything. If you have any ideas or clues let me know.

To tell you guys what my problem was: the specs. A dual-core seems to be too weak to handle this game.

That makes sense. We're getting better at making games that work on a broad range of systems.

Heya, update from dev here. Sorry for all the crashes. I wish I knew what caused it and how to fix it but we've since lost all development files for this game and I cannot support it. I think it might be related VR, because Unreal really wants to load VR upon running the game.

If anyone finds a fix, please let us know. Thanks to everyone who finds our little passion project still interesting after so many years. Again, I wish I could do more for you.
