Are any changes or updates still being made to this game?
Or are the devs pretty much finished with it?

It has been finished fort quite a while now, the last real update was to push quality of life they made during the development of the pirate game they made (that was supposed to be a DLC for this at first), plus a few small updates to fix bugs.
The game has been "finished" since 2022, more or less.

Shame. There's a couple bugs I'd still like to see them patch out.
